APPLE RINGS 
2 c. apples
1 1/2 c. flour
2 or 3 tbsp. shortening
1/2 c. milk
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1/2 stick butter
2 c. water
Cinnamon

Mix flour, shortening and milk. Roll out on floured surface. Sprinkle with cinnamon and put apples on dough and roll up in a roll. Put in pan and slice. Mix butter, sugar and water in pan. Bring to a boil for 1 minute. Then pour over apple rings. Bake at 350 to 375 degrees for about 35 minutes.
