GRANDPA'S POTATO SOUP 
6 potatoes, peeled and cut into bite size pieces
8 green onions, chopped
1 carrot, pared and sliced
1 stalk celery, sliced
4 chicken bouillon cubes
1 tbsp. parsley flakes
5 c. water
1 tbsp. salt
Pepper
1/3 c. butter
1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
Chopped chives

Put all ingredients into pot and cook until potatoes are tender. Add evaporated milk and chives. Serve.

OR - Put all ingredients into crock pot and cook on low 10-12 hours or high 3-4 hours. Stir in milk and chives during last hour.
