VANILLA CUSTARD FILLING 
1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
2 eggs, beaten well
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. heavy cream (whipping cream whipped)

Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt in top of double boiler. Slowly add milk; mix until smooth. Cook over boiling water, stirring all the while. Stir a small amount of hot mixture into beaten eggs. Blend into remaining hot mixture. Cook 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Add vanilla and chill before filling cream puffs. Beat filling until smooth and folding in whipped cream.
