PINEAPPLE DESSERT 
140 rolled vanilla wafers (12 oz. box)
3/4 c. butter

3 c. powdered sugar (1 pkg.) 3 eggs, separated 1/2 tsp. salt in egg whites 1 pt. whipping cream 2 1/2 size can crushed pineapple, drained 1 tbsp. lemon juice 1/3 c. sugar

Put one half of crumbs in large shallow pan (13"x9"). Mix butter, powdered sugar and egg yolks. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites, cover the crumbs with this mixture. Beat whipped cream until thick, add pineapple, lemon juice and sugar. Put this on top of first mixture and cover with remaining crumbs. Refrigerate overnight.
