CARAMEL CORN 
4 qt. Corn - popped or (2 sacks of microwave corn)
2 sticks butter/oleo melted
2 c. brown sugar
if unsalted corn is used add salt
1/2 c. Griffin's Crystal White Syrup
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. Griffin's Vanilla

Remove kernels (unpopped corn) and place corn in 2 large baking pans.

Stir together butter, brown sugar, salt (if needed), and syrup. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cook 5 minutes. Remove from heat.

Add 1/2 tsp. baking soda and 1 tsp vanilla. Stir until all is dissolved. Quickly pour over corn. Stir. Place in 250°F oven for one hour, stir every 15 minutes to coat the corn.

Cool and place in metal containers.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.

When Making this Cramel Corn, When do I add the nuts? Do I place them with the corn? Or mix them with the brown sugar/syrup mix?
