ENCHILADA PIE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 onion, chopped (optional)
1 tsp. salt (optional)
1/4 tsp. pepper
1-2 tbsp. chili powder
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
9 corn or flour tortillas, buttered
1 (4 1/2 oz.) can chopped ripe olives, optional
1 1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 c. water

Brown beef and onion; add seasonings and tomato sauce. In a 2-quart casserole alternate layers of buttered tortillas, meat sauce, olives and cheese. Add water, cover and bake. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes or microwave on HIGH for 3 1/2 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
