PEPPER-CHEESE BALLS 
1 c. shredded cheese
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese with chives
1 (4 oz.) can diced green chili peppers, drained
Finely chopped peanuts or snipped parsley

Bring Cheddar cheese and cream cheese to room temperature. In a medium mixing bowl, mix together Cheddar cheese, cream cheese and green chili peppers until well blended. Shape cheese mixture into 18 bite-size balls. Roll cheese balls in peanuts or parsley. Chill 3 hours or until serving time. Makes 18 appetizers.
