BLACK PEPPER CHEESE BREAD 
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. warm water
3 - 3 1/4 c. all purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. coarse black pepper
3/4 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1 1/4 oz. pkg. dry yeast
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 egg
2 tbsp. butter

Dissolve mustard in water. Combine flour with salt and pepper. Warm milk. Shred cheese. Combine milk, yeast, sugar and oil. Stir. Add egg and mix well. Add mustard and flour mixture, adding flour as necessary to form stiff dough in a ball. Add cheese. Knead about 10 minutes. Place dough in oiled bowl and turn to coat. Let rise about 1 hour until doubled. Punch down, shape and place in 9"x5" loaf pan. Cover and rise until doubled about 1 hour. Bake at 375 degrees for about 50 minutes until brown.
