LEMON BARS 
Crust:

1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
1 c. all-purpose flour, sifted
1/4 c. confectioners' sugar

Cream butter, add flour, confectioners' sugar and mix. Pat into an ungreased 8-inch square pan and bake at 350°F for 20 minutes.

Filling:

2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. all-purpose flour

Combine well beaten eggs, sugar, salt and lemon juice. Mix baking powder and flour. Add to egg mixture and mix. Spread on hot baked layer and bake at 350°F for about 30 minutes. Cool, cut into bars and sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.
