BESTEST MEATLOAF 
1 med. onion, chopped fine
1 egg, beaten
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
3 slices bread, torn in sm. pieces
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. dry mustard
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce (use half in mixture)

Mix these ingredients and mold into loaf pan.

4 oz. tomato sauce (other half of can)
1/2 c. water
2 tbsp. vinegar
4 tsp. dry mustard
2 tbsp. brown sugar

Mix together and pour over molded meat loaf. Bake 45 minutes; baste, and bake another 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Skim off fat and serve sauce separately.
