MONSTER COOKIES | |
1 doz. eggs 2 lbs. brown sugar 4 c. granulated sugar 1 tbsp. vanilla 1 tbsp. white Karo syrup 8 tsp. baking soda 1 lb. butter 3 lbs. extra crunchy peanut butter 18 c. quick type oatmeal (1 lg. drum plus 2 c.) 1 lb. chocolate chips 1 lb. plain M & M's (Yes, you are reading this right - quantities are very large!) Mix in order of listed ingredients. Drop by ice cream scoop onto ungreased cookie sheets and flatten. Bake in a 375 degree F. oven for 12 minutes. Insert toothpick to see if they are done. Makes 10 1/2 dozen large cookies. You may want to divide ingredients in half, mixing one half at a time, as this dough becomes very stiff and you will probably get it mixed better than doing an entire batch at once. You may just want to do half a batch if you don't want so many cookies at once, although they freeze beautifully. |
