MEATBALLS AND SAUCE 
SAUCE:

1/3 c. oil
2 cloves garlic
2 lg. cans tomatoes
1 tbsp. oregano
2 bay leaves
1 1/2 c. chopped onions
2 lg. cans tomato paste
1 tbsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. pepper

Saute onions and garlic in oil until translucent. Do not brown. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to low boil, stirring frequently. Immediately reduce heat and simmer. Make meatballs.

MEATBALLS:

2 lbs. ground beef
1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
8 slices of bread, soaked in water, squeeze out excess
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tsp. salt
4 eggs
1/4 c. parsley, chopped
1 tsp. oregano
Dash of pepper

Mix all ingredients well in large bowl. Shape into desired size meatballs. Place on baking sheet covered with foil. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 30 minutes or until starts to brown. Place gently in sauce, simmer gently for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Serve.
