AUNT ANNIES SQUASH CASSEROLE 
1 heaping c. grated cheese
2 c. squash (measure after cooked & drained)
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1/2 stick butter, melted

Cook squash until tender, drain off water. Mash. Mix cheese, egg, salt, sugar, pepper, flour, milk and butter. Add mixture to squash. Pour into casserole dish. Add cracker crumbs to top if you'd like. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes. Serves 6.
