BUTTER PECAN TURTLE BARS 
2 c. flour
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/4 tsp. butter flavoring
1 c. broken pecans
2/3 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chocolate chips

Mix first 4 ingredients as for pie crust - will be crumbly. Pat into ungreased 9 x 13 inch pan. Sprinkle pecans on top. Mix the butter, 1/2 cup brown sugar, and vanilla in saucepan. Boil 1 minute over medium heat, stirring constantly. Pour evenly over pecans and crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 18 to 22 minutes or until caramel is bubbly. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Spread when melted. Cool completely before cutting.
