ROLLED OATS CAKE 
1 c. rolled oats
1-1/4 c. boiling water
1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1-1/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon

Pour boiling water over oats, and let stand for 20 minutes. Combine butter, brown and white sugar. Add eggs. Mix together and add flour, salt, vanilla extract, baking soda, and cinnamon.

Bake 30 minutes at 350°F.

Icing:

1 stick butter
1/4 c. milk
1 c. coconut
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 c. nuts

Boil butter, milk, coconut, brown sugar, vanilla extract. Add nuts. Pour over cake and broil.
