LINGUINI WITH SEAFOOD SAUCE | |
1/4 c. butter 1/4 c. sliced green onions 1 sm. clove garlic, crushed 2 tbsp. flour 1 tbsp. Dijon style mustard 2 (6 1/2 oz. each) cans chopped clams 1/3 c. water 1/4 c. dry white wine 1/3 c. chopped fresh parsley 1/4 tsp. basil leaves 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 lb. med. size, cooked shrimp Hot cooked linguini Melt butter in medium sized saucepan. Add onions and garlic; cook over medium heat for 3 minutes. Stir in flour and mustard. Add liquid from clams, water, wine, parsley, basil and salt. Simmer, covered for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in clams and shrimp. Heat to serving temperature. Serve over linguini. Makes 4 servings. |
