CHAMPION RAISIN PIE 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1/4 c. milk
2 eggs, separated

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add well-beaten egg yolks, milk, nuts and raisins (mixture will look curdled).

Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Put in unbaked 9-inch pie shell. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes or until mixture is set. Serve plain or with whipped cream or non-dairy whipped topping. Serves 6-8.
