PUFFY FRENCH TOAST 
12 slices of bread
butter
1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs, separated
1 c. milk
3 tbsp. melted butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
Cinnamon

Spread butter on bread. sprinkle 1/2 of slices with brown sugar and cinnamon. Put other slices on top like sandwiches. Cut into quarters. Mix flour and other dry ingredients. Drop egg yolks on top, add milk and melted butter. Beat until smooth. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Dip bread squares in batter until covered. Fry in skillet in oil. Turn once.
