BEST EVER CHOCOLATE CANDY 
6 (1 oz. each) squares semi-sweet chocolate
1/2 c. butter
1 1/4 c. powdered sugar
3 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
1-2 tbsp. chopped nuts or almonds (optional)

Melt the chocolate in the top of a double boiler over hot water. Or microwave on high power for 2-3 minutes. Combine butter and powdered sugar in mixing bowl. Beat well until smooth and creamy. Beat in egg yolks, one at a time, stirring constantly. Stir in chocolate, vanilla, and nuts or almonds, if used. Chill until mixture is fairly thick but not yet set.

Drop mixture into small paper cups or spread mixture onto baking sheet, lined with waxed paper. Refrigerate until set. Cut chocolate on baking sheet into bite size pieces.

TIPS: If you store this candy in an airtight container, it will keep in the freezer for 2-3 months.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
