HEALTH BURGERS 
1 c. lentils
3 c. water
2 1/2 tsp. salt
6 tbsp. butter
2 c. chopped green onion
2 cloves garlic
6 slices bread crumbs
1/2 c. wheat germ
2 c. finely chopped walnuts
4 eggs
8 tsp. steak sauce
6 drops red pepper sauce
Sliced tomato or onion

Combine lentils, water and salt. Heat to boil. Cover and simmer 25 minutes or until tender. Drain and mash.

In skillet, melt 1 tablespoon butter. Add onion and garlic. Saute 2 to 3 minutes. Stir in lentils and all other ingredients. Shape into patties and brown in butter 3 to 5 minutes or put into loaf pan and top with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees until cheese is brown or approximately 40 minutes.
