LOW-FAT TANGY BBQ SAUCE | |
2 tbsp. "I can't believe it's not butter" 1/4 cup minced onion 1 tbsp. minced green bell pepper 1 cup water 1 cup ketchup 2 tbsp. white vinegar 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 2 tbsp. lemon juice 2 tbsp. brown sugar 1 tsp. yellow mustard 1 tsp. celery seed 1 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch 1 tbsp. water In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add onions and peppers until tender. Add next 10 ingredients, simmer 20 minutes. Add cornstarch and water, simmer until thickened. This BBQ sauce is great on chicken or ribs.
