SAUERKRAUT AND PORK CHOPS 
1 lg. onion, sliced
1 pkg. of sauerkraut
4 or 5 pork chops
Paprika
1/4 c. rice (uncooked)
1 can tomato soup
2 c. water
1 tbsp. sugar

Brown pork chops. Season with salt, pepper and paprika. Line casserole dish with onion. Place 1/2 of sauerkraut in casserole. Place pork chops next. Spread rice on top. Place remaining sauerkraut on rice. Mix soup with water and sugar. Pour over casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
