BAKED INDIAN PUDDING 
3 c. hot water
1/2 c. yellow cornmeal
1 c. evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. molasses

Add cornmeal to hot water. Boil for 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Add other ingredients and pour into greased casserole which has been set in a shallow pan of water. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees or until thick. Serve warm with cream or ice cream.
