INDIAN PUDDING 
1 qt. milk
1/2 c. molasses
2 eggs
1 tsp. salt
5 tbsp. cornmeal
1 tsp. ginger
1 c. cold milk

Scald one quart of milk in double boiler, then add the cornmeal to the hot milk. Cook 15 minutes, stirring constantly. Add molasses, salt, ginger and well beaten eggs. Pour into buttered baking dish, put in cold milk just before putting in oven. Stir only slightly.
