BEER BREAD 
3 c. whole wheat flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 tbsp. honey
12 oz. beer (Lone Star)
Butter

In a bowl, combine dry ingredients; add honey, then pour in the beer, stirring only until moistened. Pour into a greased loaf pan and bake at 300 degrees for 55 minutes. As soon as it is removed from oven, rub top and sides with butter.
