APPLE CHEESE CRISP 
3 c. Granny Smith apples, chopped
1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 c. water
2 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
4 tbsp. butter
3/4 c. cheese, shredded

Arrange apples in shallow 9-inch baking dish and sprinkle with cinnamon. Add water and lemon juice. Combine sugar, flour and salt. Work in butter to form a crunchy mixture. Lightly stir in cheese. Spread mixture over apples and bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. Yields: 4.
