ANISETTE BISCUITS 
3 c. flour
1 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1 stick butter (1/4 lb.)
3 tsp. anise extract
2 tsp. vanilla
3 lg. eggs

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients together by hand in a large bowl. If dough sticks to fingers, add a little more flour. Divide dough in half. Roll each part into a loaf approximately 12 inches long. Place on floured cookie sheet. Bake 30 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and cut into slices immediately while hot. Leave on cookie sheet in loaf form until cool. Drizzle glaze icing over loaves and sprinkle with non-parels immediately.

GLAZE ICING:

1 c. powdered sugar
2-3 tsp. milk
1-2 tsp. lemon extract

Mix all ingredients together. Add more sugar if too watery.
