MARINATED CHUCK ROAST 
5 lbs. of chuck roast, sprinkle on meat tenderizer
1/2 c. salad oil
1/2 c. vinegar
1 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. tomato catsup
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 clove garlic

With fork or ice pick pierce roast about 1 inch apart on both sides. Place on casserole. Combine all other ingredients and pour over roast, cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for 12 to 18 hours. Broil over charcoal for 45 minutes and turn and broil for 30 minutes. Brush with remaining marinade.
