GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
4 slices bacon
1/2 c. cold water
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. sugar
2 (16 oz.) cans sliced potatoes
1 med. size onion, diced
Salt and pepper to taste

Cook bacon until crisp and drain (microwave is fast). In large pan add: water, vinegar, and sugar and stir. Add drained potatoes; diced onion and heat through. Add crumbled bacon and salt and pepper to taste. Makes 6-8 servings. (Fast and easy. Recipe can be cut in half easily too.)

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
