3/4 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder

Cream together butter and sugar in bowl. Add vanilla, flour, salt and baking powder. Mix until smooth. Chill for 2 hours. Roll out on floured surface. Cut out desired cookies. Bake at 400 degrees for 5 to 8 minutes. Eat warm. MMM!

These cookies work well to use for a Room Party because you can make about 3 dozen large cookies. They taste buttery and they are not real sweet.
