1 c. 'a brown sugar
1/4 c. 'a butter mixed with sugar
1 c. 'a flour
1 tsp. 'a bakin' powder
1 agg (whup it by itself or with other stuff)
1 c. Hickory nuts or walnuts

Bake in a shaller pan in a moderate oven. Bake awful slow 'cause the stuff burn perty quick. Grease or sprinkle salt on the pan to keep them from stickin.
