AUNT IRENE'S FRUIT SALAD | |
1 (1 lb. 4 oz.) can pineapple chunks 2 (11 oz.) cans mandarin orange sections 2 c. seedless red grapes 2 c. miniature marshmallows 2 eggs 1/4 c. white vinegar 1/4 c. sugar 2 tbsp. butter 8 oz. container whipped topping Beat eggs until thick and fluffy. Add sugar and vinegar. Cook until thick, stirring. You can also thicken in microwave. Add butter and let mixture cool. Drain fruit. Combine thickened mixture with whipped topping. Stir into fruit and marshmallows. Cover and chill several hours before serving. |
