1 lb. light brown sugar
2 sticks butter
1/2 c. white sugar
4 eggs
2 c. self-rising flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecans

Melt brown sugar and butter in a pan. Take off heat and add white sugar, eggs (1 at a time), self-rising flour, vanilla, and pecans. Do not beat, stir in until mixed. Pour into a 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan well-buttered. Bake 40 minutes in a 350 degree oven. Cut when cool.
