6 c. peeled cubed apples (4-5 apples)
2 tsp. cinnamon
3 c. + 2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
4 eggs
1/4 c. orange juice
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
2 c. + 5 tbsp. sugar
1 c. salad oil
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan. In large bowl combine apples, cinnamon, 5 tablespoons sugar and 2 tablespoons flour; toss well and set aside. In large mixer bowl combine remaining sugar and flour with all remaining ingredients except nuts; beat until smooth. Stir in walnuts.

Pour half the batter into prepared pan. Top with half the apple mixture. Repeat with remaining batter and apple mixture. Bake 1 hour and 45 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
