JEWISH APPLE CAKE | |
3 c. flour 2 c. sugar 3 tsp. baking powder 4 eggs 1 c. vegetable oil 2 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. orange juice 5-6 apples, peeled & chopped 2 tsp. cinnamon 5 tbsp. sugar Mix flour, 2 cups sugar, baking powder, eggs, oil, vanilla and orange juice. In a separate bowl, combine apples with cinnamon and 5 tablespoons of sugar. Pour half of batter into a greased tube pan. Add half of the apple mixture. Repeat with remaining batter and apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or until a toothpick comes out clean. |
