CHICK PEA RATATOUILLO 
1-2 garlic cloves
1 onion
1 green pepper
2 tbsp. butter
2 cans chopped tomatoes
1 tsp. herb salt
Black pepper
1 can chick peas
3/4 c. sour cream
Parsley
Lemon juice

Peel and finely chop garlic and onion and green pepper. Fry onion and garlic in butter until soft but not brown. Add the pepper, tomatoes and lemon juice. Season with herb, salt and black pepper. Simmer to reduce liquid for 7-8 minutes. Mix in the chick peas and bring to boil. Serve sprinkled with parsley and a spoonful of sour cream. Goes well with black bread.
