CHICKEN AND DRESSING CASSEROLE 
1 (2 1/2 to 3 lb.) chicken stewed, meat taken off bones
1 stick butter
1 pkg. stuffing mix
1 can sliced mushrooms
1 c. sour cream
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 1/2 c. chicken stock

Melt butter, add stuffing and mix well. Spread 3/4 of stuffing mixture in bottom of greased 11 x 7 inch casserole. Lay pieces of chicken on top of stuffing. Add drained mushrooms. Mix sour cream, cream of chicken soup and one cup chicken stock. Spoon over chicken and dressing. Sprinkle remaining 1/4 stuffing. Mix over top. Pour remaining 1/2 cup chicken stock over top. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
