3/4 c. shortening
1 egg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. grated zucchini
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. nuts or chocolate chips or both

Cream shortening and sugar. Beat in egg and vanilla. Mix in zucchini and flour and dry ingredients. Drop by teaspoonful on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Make 5 dozen. Put powdered sugar on them if you wish.
