DUTCH POTATO SALAD 
4 slices bacon
1 onion, diced
1/4 c. vinegar
2 tbsp. water
3 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
3 c. diced, cooked potatoes
1 tbsp. minced parsley

Cut bacon fine and fry. Brown onion in fat. Add vinegar, water, sugar, salt, and pepper. Heat to boiling, then add potatoes and parsley. Heat thoroughly and serve. Serves 4.
