CHOCOLATE CARAMEL APPLES 
18 sm. apples
18 wooden sticks
1/2 c. butter
2 sqs. (2 oz.) unsweetened chocolate
2 c. packed brown sugar
1 c. light corn syrup
1 (14 oz.) can or 1 1/4 c. sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped peanuts

Spread chopped peanuts on waxed paper and set aside. Melt together chocolate, butter, corn syrup, and condensed milk, stirring constantly. Add brown sugar while continuing to stir. Heat to 245 degrees. Stir in vanilla. Dip apples and place on prepared pan. Makes 18.
