BUTTERSCOTCH SAUCE 
1/2 c. light brown sugar
2/3 c. corn syrup
3 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. light cream or evaporated milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Boil sugar, syrup and butter together for 5 minutes until sugar is dissolved. Add cream or milk and again bring to the boiling point. Add vanilla and serve hot or cold.
