ANGEL BAVARIAN CAKE 
1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. flour
Pinch of salt
4 egg yolks
1 pt. milk

Cook like any custard until thick. While still hot, add 1 package plain gelatin which has been dissolved in 1/2 cup cold water. Cool custard.

8 oz. Cool Whip

Beat egg whites and fold in half of Cool Whip - then fold into custard.

Angel food cake (take brown off sides).

In 2 quart baking dish, take half of the cake and pinch into little pieces and put on bottom. Put half custard over this. Repeat with other half of cake and custard. Cool in refrigerator and ice with other half of Cool Whip. Sprinkle with coconut. (Decorate with a cherry on each square when serving for a very pretty dessert.)
