BROCCOLI/CHEESE CASSEROLE | |
1 loaf bread, cubed 1 lb. sharp cheddar cheese, grated 1 lg. bunch fresh broccoli, steamed 9 eggs, slightly beaten 5 c. milk 1/2 c. minced onion 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. dry mustard Put 1/2 of the bread in bottom of greased 9 x 13 x 2 baking pan. Put cheese layer over bread. Add layer of broccoli. Put rest of bread over cheese layer. Combine eggs, milk, onion, salt, and mustard. Pour over other ingredients in pan. Refrigerate overnight. Bake uncovered at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Remove from oven, cover with foil and wait 7 minutes. Serves 8-10. |
