1 gallon green tomatoes
1 gallon apples
2 lb. raisins
2 lb. brown sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. cloves

Grind tomatoes and apples. Put all ingredients in kettle and boil slowly until it thickens. Put in sterilized jars and seal. Makes delicious pies, a special Thanksgiving treat in our family.
