OATMEAL NUT BREAD 
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
2 c. buttermilk
2/3 c. molasses
3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 1/2 c. chopped dates

In mixing bowl beat eggs until light. Slowly add sugar, beating constantly. Blend in buttermilk and molasses. Sift together flour, soda, salt, and baking powder. Gradually add to buttermilk mixture, beating only until blended.

Stir in oats, nuts and dates, beating only to combine evenly. Divide into two greased 3 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2-inch pans. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 50-60 minutes.
