CARAMEL CORN 
8 c. popped corn
3/4 c. brown sugar
6 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. corn syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. vanilla

1. Pop the popcorn. Place in 13x9 pan.

2. Place brown sugar, butter, corn syrup and salt in large saucepan.

3. Cook on medium heat. Stir with wooden spoon until mixture starts to boil. When it boils, stop stirring. Cook 5 minutes.

4. Stir in baking soda and vanilla. Pour over popcorn, using rubber scraper to coat.

5. Bake at 300 degrees for 15 minutes.

6. Remove from oven. Stir. Bake 5-10 minutes longer.
