MOTHER'S ROLLS | |
2 c. milk 1/2 c. Wesson oil 1/2 c. sugar 2 pkg. yeast Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water. Warm milk, shortening and sugar to lukewarm in order for sugar to dissolve. Add yeast to this mixture and add self-rising flour to proper consistency. Knead dough and let rise for 2 hours. If you want to make rolls a day ahead of time, cover dough and refrigerate. When you are ready to bake knead dough, cut rolls and let rise for 2 1/2 hours. Now you are ready to bake. |
