BERRY SWIRLS 
1 1/2 c. self rising flour
1/2 c. milk
4 oz. butter
16 oz. loganberries, strawberries, raspberry, or blueberries

SAUCE:

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. berry syrup
1 oz. butter
1/2 c. white wine

Sift flour. Stir in butter until crumbly. Add milk. Roll out and spread with drained berries. Roll up like jelly roll and cut into slices about 1 1/2 inches wide. Arrange in greased casserole. Heat butter, sugar, and fruit juice, add wine and bring to boil and pour over pastry. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
