GERMAN CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1 box dark chocolate cake mix
1 pt. whipping cream
1 can cherry pie filling
2 sq. Baker's chocolate, grated
Confectioners' sugar, to taste

Prepare cake mix as directed. Bake in 2 (8 or 9 inch) cake pan. Cool. Whip cream. Add confectioners' sugar as desired.

On top of first layer of cake, spread 1/4 to 1/3 of cream. Spoon 1/2 of cherry filling to top of layer to within 1 inch of edge. Top with second layer. Completely cover with remaining cream. Sprinkle top with grated chocolate. Place remaining cherries on top to within one inch of edge.
