SWEET AND SOUR PORK CHOPS 
4 chops, salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp. oil
1 med. onion, cut in 1/4 inch rings
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 c. water
1 (27 oz.) can sauerkraut

Sprinkle chops with salt and pepper. Add oil to pan and brown on both sides. Remove and set aside.

Saute onions for 5 minutes. Remove onions from pan, drain off grease. Put chops in pan. Squeeze water from sauerkraut, put sauerkraut on chops along with onion.

Mix tomato sauce, sugar and water, put on chops. Bring to boil, cover, reduce heat. Simmer for 45 minutes. Add more water if needed.
